LEE CHANHYUK continues to carve out his singular path as a solo artist with his second full-length album, [EROS].

While his first studio album [ERROR] portrayed the process of his own death through a cohesive narrative, [EROS] begins with the death of someone else. The album delves into the sense of emptiness intensified by the loss of a cherished presence, expressing LEE CHANHYUK’s emotional response and shifting perspectives through a wide range of forms.

He raises fundamental questions to the self that once longed for pure and ideal love, confesses to the false smiles and tears, the fabricated identity shown on screen, and at times, delivers a cynical reflection - suggesting that love may go extinct by tomorrow. Yet in contrast, he also admits that even the faintest glimmer of love is enough reason to go on living.

Through this emotional journey, LEE CHANHYUK comes to recognize a world that finds harmony in its very imperfection - where anger, sorrow, regret for the world, and unreachable dreams all coexist. These deficiencies not only define who he is today, but ultimately become the driving force behind this album.

Even if a “brilliant world” dominated by ideal love like ‘Vivid LaLa Love’ may never come, he conveys that it is in the very desire for such a world that the light shines.
