PSY’s 6^th studio album [PSY 6甲] Part 1. will be released on July 18, 2012.

PSY’s 6^th studio album [PSY 6甲], which he has worked very hard on for the past two years, has been split into two parts, part 1 and part 2, and will feature many different musical styles.

[PSY 6甲] Part 1., set to drop on July 18, will consist of 6 new songs that PSY has handpicked to heat up the summer, and each song will feature a high-profile artist including BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON, LEESSANG, SUNG SI-KYUNG, YOON DO-HYUN, PARK JUNG-HYUN and KIM JIN-PYO.

The new album features many great tracks from the beginning to the end : ‘Tree Frog,’ a song that has deep lyrics and full of meaning, which will make you agree; ‘Passionate Goodbye,’ a remake from a song of YOO HEE-YEOL; ‘Gangnam Style,’ the album’s weighty title song that has addictive beats and lyrics, and is certain to penetrate the foundations of modern philosophy; 'Seventy Seven 101', a song sung by 3 male artists who were born in 1977 (Park PSY, KIM JIN-PYO & GIL SUNG JOON) and 1 artist who was born in early 1978 (Kang Gary) that truthfully but calmly reminisces their naive youth; 'What Would Have Been,’ the sequel to ‘Paradise,’  ’It’s Already Like This,’ and ’In My Eyes’ that has impressive lyrics, which will make all men agree ; and 'NEVER SAY GOODBYE,’ a song that will fill up your heart with sensitive melodies and lyrics, and features a charismatic voice of YOON DO HYUN, who is like a brother to PSY.

Additionally, PSY, who has always come up with unique album artworks and album titles, has also uniquely expressed the identity of his 6^th studio album with the album cover featuring a caricature of a ‘mermaid PSY,’ which symbolizes summer, and album title [PSY 6甲] combining the 6^th album with the Chinese letter 甲, intended to mean ‘the best.’
