TREASURE RETOOK 1ST PLACE IN ORICON WEEKLY CHART

2ND JAPAN TOUR BEING A TOTAL 'BOMB'..3RD MINI ALBUM DROPPING ON FEB. 21ST

ALBUM SALES STEADILY RISING..LOCAL MEDIA PAYING ATTENTION TO 'UNUSUAL MOVE'

YG TREASURE marked a good start to the new year by recapturing the top spot on the Oricon weekly chart in Japan with its second full-length album, "REBOOT."

According to Japan's Oricon announcement on JAN. 9th, TREASURE's second full-length album, "REBOOT," topped the weekly album chart (2024.1.1~2024.1.7). It went straight to the top of the chart when it was released in August last year, and again, it beat out prominent competitors thanks to constant love from local fans.

Oricon is Japan's largest music site, with both public credibility and popularity. The steady rise in Oricon's music charts, which is considered an indicator of core fandom, reassures TREASURE's solid position in the market again. Major Japanese media, including Fuji TV's "Mezamashi TV," also reported the news, paying attention to these unusual moves.

TREASURE has recorded its own career high, with its second full-length album "REBOOT" exceeding 1.88 million copies (based on the circle chart). It is interpreted that it is gaining momentum again in the sales. Starting with the Fukuoka Paypay Dome on the 6th, big projects such as a three-month second tour of Japan and holding a pop-up store were carried out.

Thanks to the momentum, Treasure will release its third mini album, "REBOOT-JP SPECIAL SELECTION-" in Japan on Feb. 21st. The album is expected to receive good responses from local fans as it includes the Japanese version of "BONA BONA" that topped various local charts, including Line Music, the largest Japanese music site.

Meanwhile, TREASURE is hosting "2024 TREASURE TOUR [REBOOT] IN JAPAN." They will meet fans a total of 14 times in 6 cities, including Saitama Jan. 12-14th, Aichi Jan. 20-21st, Osaka Feb. 3-4th, Fukui Feb. 10-11th, Nagoya Feb. 14-15th, and Hiroshima Feb. 22-23rd.
