TREASURE Opens Their Second Japan Tour in Grand Fashion at Fukuoka Dome, Marking Their Third Dome Entry
Group TREASURE opened their second Japan tour with great momentum in Fukuoka, HARUTO's hometown, immersing the place in a sea of blue lights.
TREASURE held their '2024 TREASURE TOUR [REBOOT] in JAPAN' at the Fukuoka PayPay Dome on the 6th. This venue, one of the local six major dome stadiums known as the dream stage for artists, marks TREASURE’s third dome entry following Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome.
From the opening, TREASURE skillfully navigated the vast venue, energizing the audience with their explosive stage presence. The fans responded enthusiastically with loud sing-alongs and cheers to hits like 'BONA BONA', 'JIKJIN', 'B.O.M.B', and 'HELLO', which topped Japan's largest music and record sites, Line Music and Oricon Chart.
TREASURE showcased their versatility with performances from their second full album 'REBOOT', including solid unit performances by each member, and emotionally stirring ballads, reaffirming their strength as live performers. Especially notable was their interaction with fans, running across the stage, which further heated the atmosphere and passion in the venue.
The high-quality performance production added to the immersion. The stage design symbolizing 'REBOOT', large-scale LEDs, and lavish special effects like lighting, lasers, and fire columns thrilled the audience. Additionally, the rich band sound and extensive dance breaks offered a variety of spectacles, making it a performance that kept the audience’s eyes glued to the stage.
The PayPay Dome, where the performance was held, had special significance as it was not only HARUTO's hometown of Fukuoka but also a venue where YG senior artists like BIGBANG and BLACKPINK have performed. HARUTO expressed his gratitude, saying, "I have returned to my hometown. I’m very happy to start this tour at PayPay Dome, a dream stage for me. Another dream has come true." Other members of TREASURE said, "Let’s create joyful memories with TREASURE in 2024."
Meanwhile, TREASURE attracted over 500,000 audience members last year through their first arena tour and fan meeting tour in Japan. They have proven their immense popularity with sold-out performances and their third dome entry, garnering attention from major Japanese media like Fuji TV's 'Mezamashi TV', raising expectations for their second tour.
Riding on this momentum, TREASURE will perform a total of 14 shows in six cities: Saitama on January 12-14, Aichi on January 20-21, Osaka on February 3-4, Fukui on February 10-11, Nagoya on February 14-15, and Hiroshima on February 22-23. They will also continue the excitement with the release of their third Japanese mini-album 'REBOOT -JP Special Selection-' on February 21.
