YG EXECUTIVE PRODUCER YANG HYUN SUK Announces AHYEON’s Return to BABYMONSTER, Solidifying the Seven-Member Lineup

YG Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK has announced the return of AHYEON to BABYMONSTER, officially confirming the group as a seven-member ensemble.

On January 25th, YG Entertainment released a “YG Surprise Announcement” on their official social media, ahead of the release of their new song “Stuck In The Middle” on February 1st. The announcement included a video filled with hints about AHYEON’s eagerly awaited return and future activities.

YANG HYUN SUK expressed his relief and excitement, stating, “Fortunately, AHYEON has fully recovered her health and has rejoined us at YG from today to record songs for the album. I wanted to share this joyful news with you all as soon as possible.” AHYEON will be actively participating from BABYMONSTER’s first mini-album set to release in April, which will feature versions of “BATTER UP” and “Stuck In The Middle” with her involvement. Yang confidently asserted, “You can look forward to the perfect activities of the seven-member BABYMONSTER group.”

With the completion of the seven-member lineup, BABYMONSTER is set to take aim at the global music market with full support from YG. Yang revealed plans to significantly boost YG’s internal production team from around 10 members to 40-50 members to accelerate progress. He promised, “Our goal is to release a full album around autumn.”

In his closing remarks, YANG HYUN SUK urged fans to support “Stuck In The Middle” releasing on February 1st and expressed his happiness and gratitude for being able to deliver the news of the seven members reuniting.

The unveiling of motion content and credit posters for “Stuck In The Middle” also attracted attention, presenting a dreamy atmosphere with stars in the night sky blending into a single light, raising expectations for the new musical direction BABYMONSTER will showcase, distinct from the original hip-hop vibe of their debut song “BATTER UP.”
