TREASURE Tops Japan’s Mini Album Chart with Their Third Release…Tops Oricon Chart Once Again
TREASURE has once again topped the Oricon chart in Japan with their third mini album.
According to YG Entertainment on February 23, TREASURE’s third Japanese mini album “REBOOT -JP SPECIAL SELECTION-” secured the No. 1 spot on the Oricon Daily Album Chart for February 21. Oricon is recognized for its credibility and popularity as the largest local music sales aggregation site. TREASURE has managed to reach the top with all their albums released locally so far, including this latest release.
This album features a total of six tracks, including the Japanese versions of “BONA BONA,” the title track of their second full album that swept five awards at Oricon and Billboard Japan, “B.O.M.B,” “MOVE (T5),” “STUPID,” and “Here I Stand,” which earned them their first ‘Platinum’ certification from the Japan Gold Disc Awards. Notably, the first track, “LET IT BURN,” an original Japanese song, has also secured the top spot on Rakuten Music and other major local music charts. JUNKYU participated in writing and composing the song, with rappers CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO joining in.
Additionally, TREASURE is scheduled to appear on NHK’s popular music program “Venue101” on February 24.
