BABYMONSTER AHYEON Returns After a Year: The 7-Member Group’s Comeback Raises Expectations

YG Entertainment has unveiled the “BABYMONSTER – [BABYMONS7ER] VISUAL FILM” for the upcoming girl group BABYMONSTER, who are set to release their first mini album on April 1st. The video, posted on the official blog on the 11th, features the six members RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, RAMI, RORA, and CHIQUITA, blending into the tense siren sounds and powerful beats. Their charismatic expressions and gestures have amplified interest in their new concept and stage.

Especially noteworthy was the final scene where AHYEON appeared as a silhouette, instantly capturing attention. Despite only being revealed for a brief moment with the screen closing in and the shadows clearing, she exuded a powerful aura that marked her distinct presence.

AHYEON, known as the “center of confidence” for her versatility in singing, rapping, dancing, and visuals, had garnered high expectations. Her cover of Charlie Puth’s “Dangerously” before debuting attracted hot responses from music fans worldwide, currently nearing 40 million views on YouTube.

After a break for health reasons, AHYEON will officially join BABYMONSTER with the release of their first mini album [BABYMONS7ER] on April 1st at midnight. Until now, the team has released the powerful hip-hop track “BATTER UP” and the pop ballad “Stuck In The Middle,” showcasing their vocal talents. The music videos have surpassed 220 million and 100 million views on YouTube, respectively, continuing to gain popularity.

Despite releasing two new songs, BABYMONSTER has yet to engage in music broadcasts or fan meetings. With AHYEON’s addition for this album, active promotions are expected, significantly raising anticipation among music fans. As BABYMONSTER prepares to showcase their synergy as a complete seven-member group, they are poised to become a hot topic in the K-pop market.
