TREASURE’s latest project, “Shining SOLO,” has brilliantly showcased the members’ new charms, lighting up a signal of global popularity. According to YG Entertainment on the 12th of March, TREASURE’s new variety program “Shining SOLO” clinched the top spot in the popularity rankings on Lemino the previous day. The show began generating buzz from its second episode, achieving the record for the highest daily viewership among all “K-POP Variety” content historically.
Lemino, operated by Japan’s largest telecom firm NTT Docomo, is a leading OTT platform in the country. This achievement is particularly significant as it marks TREASURE’s expanding influence in the Japanese market through entertainment, adding to their music and performance repertoire.
Additionally, the program has made impressive rankings alongside local content in platforms across Thailand and Taiwan. Related videos uploaded to YG’s official YouTube channel have continued to trend upwards, amassing nearly 25 million views to date.
“Shining SOLO” is a romantic survival series aiming to find TREASURE’s top ‘gem’. The members spend four days in TREASURE Castle, each showcasing their charm in a bid to win over female participants. The show is broadcasted every Sunday at 12:30 AM on SBS, with simultaneous broadcasts in Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan.
In other news, TREASURE recently concluded their second extensive Japan tour, “2024 TREASURE TOUR [REBOOT] IN JAPAN,” spanning 7 cities with 16 performances and engaging with 300,000 fans. With an Asian tour set to commence in May followed by a fan meeting tour in Japan in July, TREASURE is poised to further accelerate their global rise.
