BABYMONSTER Releases Official Debut Song ‘SHEESH’ Poster, Teases ‘Addictive Choreography’

BABYMONSTER has sparked global fans’ curiosity by revealing a poster for their new song ‘SHEESH’, hinting at the song’s vibe.

YG Entertainment posted “BABYMONSTER – TITLE ‘SHEESH’” on their official blog on the 19th. The silhouette of BABYMONSTER standing boldly under sharp metal structures presents an extraordinary image.

In a space as dark as pitch, the light seeping through creates a strange tension, with the seven members’ aura facing forward intensely. This connects to the dark concept that YG EXECUTIVE PRODUCER YANG HYUN SUK had previously hinted at.

Above all, the ambitious spirit emanating from the song’s title itself has visually peeled off a layer, garnering hot responses from fans. Given the title uses an exclamation of ‘astonishment,’ it’s anticipated that their new music and performance will showcase a charisma that goes beyond their existing sporty charm.

YG stated, “‘SHEESH’ is a hip-hop dance song featuring a Baroque-style piano melody and grand synthesizer sounds,” and added, “You can look forward to a catchy chorus and bold performances.”

BABYMONSTER will release their first mini album [BABYMONS7ER] on April 1 at midnight. The title song ‘SHEESH,’ along with tracks like ‘LIKE THAT’ which pop star Charlie Puth worked on, ‘MONSTERS (Intro),’ ‘Stuck In The Middle (7 Ver.),’ ‘BATTER UP (7 Ver.),’ ‘DREAM,’ and ‘Stuck In The Middle (Remix),’ make up a total of 7 tracks in the album.

With this album, BABYMONSTER is set to engage in vigorous activities. They plan to become more familiar to domestic fans through music programs, broadcast activities, fan signing events, and more. Starting in Tokyo, Japan, they will also embark on a fan meeting tour covering five Asian regions, including Jakarta, Indonesia, Singapore, Taipei, Taiwan, and Bangkok, Thailand, and participate in Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024,’ to expand their global reach.
