YG’s New Girl Group BABYMONSTER Officially Debuts, Sets Off a Full-Scale Promotional Blitz
YG Entertainment’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER is set to sweep across broadcast media in celebration of their official debut, signaling the start of their expansive promotional activities.
According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER is slated to appear on JTBC’s “Knowing Bros” on April 13th at 8:50 PM, marking their first variety show appearance since debut. They plan to capture viewers’ hearts with their fresh charm.
Starting with SBS’s “Inkigayo” on April 7th and followed by Mnet’s “M Countdown” on April 11th, the group will be actively participating in music broadcasts to showcase the stage of their debut mini-album’s title track “SHEESH”. Additionally, their appearances on the web variety show “Idol Human Theater” and several radio programs are scheduled, offering a glimpse into their entertaining variety skills.
YG’s promised active promotion strategy is gradually unveiling, laying the groundwork for expanding interactions with not only fans but also the wider public. With plans to extend their presence beyond music to variety shows, YouTube, and radio, the group is expected to firmly establish their presence.
Furthermore, BABYMONSTER will embark on a fan meeting tour covering five Asian regions, starting from Tokyo, Japan to Jakarta, Indonesia, Singapore, Taipei, Taiwan, and Bangkok, Thailand. They have also confirmed their performance at Japan’s largest music festival, “Summer Sonic 2024”, in August, heralding their rise as a global sensation.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER officially debuted on April 1st with their first mini album [BABYMONS7ER]. The title track “SHEESH” has surpassed 51.95 million views on YouTube, maintaining its position as the #1 global popular music video for three consecutive days. The song is also faring well on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, achieving the highest entry record for a K-pop girl group this year on the Daily Top Songs Global chart at 69th place and continues to sail smoothly.
