BABYMONSTER Selected as Adidas’ Global Partner

Rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has been chosen as a new global partner by Adidas immediately following their official debut.

On April 17, YG Entertainment announced, “BABYMONSTER has begun a global partnership with Adidas.” The seven members are expected to shine as the new faces of the brand, starting with the ‘SS24 ORIGINALS campaign’.

Less than a month into their official entry into the music industry, BABYMONSTER has already secured a modeling contract with a fashion brand. Their presence in advertising is an indicator of public favorability and competitive strength, demonstrating the high interest and expectations not only in their music but across various industries.

Adidas shared, “Immediately after the teaser photos were released, there was an overwhelming response from K-pop fans worldwide, truly demonstrating BABYMONSTER’s popularity. We ask for high expectations for the upcoming campaign content that will feature their unique ORIGINALS story.”

BABYMONSTER released their debut 1st mini album [BABYMONS7ER] on April 1, causing a global sensation. The album achieved a new record for initial sales of a K-pop girl group debut album, selling 401,287 copies in its first week.

On YouTube, their momentum is fierce. The music video for the title track ‘SHEESH’ broke the record for the fastest debut song by a K-pop girl group to reach 100 million views on YouTube in just 10 days. Following the release of new songs, the official channel’s subscriber count has seen explosive growth, surpassing 5.1 million subscribers.

Additionally, their outstanding vocal, rap, and dance performance capabilities have been well-received in music broadcasts and various live clips, helping to spread the word about ‘SHEESH’, which is climbing the charts on various platforms. They are continually setting new personal records on the US Billboard main chart and Spotify’s global chart, while also rising in rankings on domestic music sites like Melon, enhancing their presence.
