BABYMONSTER’s First Asia Fan Meeting Tour in Japan Sells Out, Indicating Explosive Popularity

YG’s new girl group BABYMONSTER filled the Tokyo concert venue, the starting point of their first Asia fan meeting tour, with fans, signaling an extraordinary global popularity storm.

According to YG Entertainment on the 8th, all seats for BABYMONSTER’s “BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE IN JAPAN” at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, on the 11th and 12th have been sold out.

Located in the heart of Tokyo, the Ariake Arena is one of the large-scale venues that can accommodate more than 10,000 people. Within about 40 days of their official debut, BABYMONSTER not only made a swift entry into an arena-class venue but also proved their unique ticket power.

In addition, despite not yet officially debuting in Japan, BABYMONSTER has been flooded with love calls from local terrestrial broadcasters and festivals. In fact, they have already been confirmed to perform at “Summer Sonic 2024,” Japan’s largest music festival in August, and are set to showcase their prowess on multiple major music programs.

BABYMONSTER has been garnering positive reviews in the global music market, including Japan. Their first mini album, BABYMONS7ER, topped the iTunes Japan K-POP Top, Pop, and K-Pop Album charts. It also ranked high in three Oricon charts: Weekly Album, Pop (Imports), and Comprehensive Album, as well as Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums and Download Albums charts.

Starting in Tokyo, BABYMONSTER’s first Asia fan meeting tour will continue to Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 8, Singapore on June 15, Taipei on June 23, and Bangkok, Thailand, on June 29 and 30, covering a total of five cities and seven shows to interact with global fans.
