BABYMONSTER Opens Up Asia Fan Meeting Tour with Explosive Live Skills

Rookie group BABYMONSTER under YG Entertainment has fired the starting gun on their debut fan meeting with a performance and stage presence befitting the moniker “monster rookies.”

BABYMONSTER successfully concluded their event titled “[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE] IN JAPAN” at Ariake Arena in Tokyo on May 11 and 12. The initial 20,000 seats prepared were sold out, and with additional seats opened due to fan requests, the total number of seats sold reached 26,000.

Entering the stage to roaring cheers, BABYMONSTER immediately elevated the atmosphere with their official debut song “SHEESH.” This was followed by a first-time performance of “LIKE THAT” and “Stuck In The Middle (Remix)” from their 1st mini album, along with the full seven-member performance of “BATTER UP” and cover songs previously showcased in their debut reality series, creating a concert-like, diverse setlist that captivated the audience throughout.

Especially noteworthy was their overwhelming live performance filled with explosive vocals and raps, as well as powerful choreography that delivered a thrilling experience at every moment. Despite being newcomers, the members freely moved across the stage, skillfully engaging the audience and heating up the venue with their confident stage presence.

The content prepared by the members for their first fan meeting added a special touch. They continued to build a close connection with fans by answering random questions in a profile creation segment and drawing in a relay format among other interactive games, creating unforgettable memories together.

Returning to her hometown, ASA, along with the other members of BABYMONSTER, shared, “It was nerve-wracking because it was our first fan meeting, but the time flew by being with the fans. It’s moving and an honor to interact with so many people,” and expressed gratitude, “Thank you to all the fans who enjoyed our performance and supported us.”

Having successfully launched their first fan meeting tour, BABYMONSTER will next head to Jakarta, Indonesia, on June 8. Following this, they will perform in Singapore on June 15, Taipei on June 23, and conclude with two shows in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 29 and 30, expanding their global reach with a total of five cities and seven performances.
