With their signature hand microphones, BABYMONSTER has taken over the top four terrestrial music broadcasts in Japan, demonstrating their overpowering live skills. On May 31st, BABYMONSTER appeared on Nihon TV’s “Buzz Rhythm” to perform the Korean original version of “SHEESH,” the lead track from their first mini-album, [BABYMONS7ER].

Carrying hand microphones as usual, BABYMONSTER showcased their abundant vocal power and rhythmic rapping, unfurling their musical talents freely. Their intense performance, distinctive styling of each member, and the relaxed stage presence together created an engaging and unforgettable stage.

BABYMONSTER has been making waves in the Japanese music scene even before their official debut there. After their first appearance on TV Asahi’s “Music Station,” they continued to make appearances on NHK’s “Venue101,” TBS’s “CDTV Live! Live!,” Nihon TV’s “with MUSIC,” and “Buzz Rhythm,” leaving a strong impression across these major music programs.

The local music fans’ high interest in BABYMONSTER is evident in the charts. Their mini-album [BABYMONS7ER] immediately topped the iTunes Japan K-POP Top, Pop, and K-POP Album charts upon release and ranked highly on the Oricon Weekly Album, Pop (Import), Comprehensive Album charts, and the Billboard Japan Hot Album and Download Album charts.

Their debut Asian fan meeting tour started with a performance in Tokyo at the Ariake Arena, which quickly sold out all 26,000 seats, demonstrating their exceptional ticket-selling power. The Tokyo pop-up store saw hundreds of fans waiting in line, with products selling out so quickly that additional stores had to be opened in Osaka.

In a unique collaboration, BABYMONSTER will have their own cafes at Tower Records in Tokyo Omotesando and Osaka Umeda from June 13 to June 30. These cafes will feature limited-edition collaboration merchandise, autographed displays, and various events for visiting fans.

Furthermore, BABYMONSTER is currently conducting their debut fan meeting tour ‘[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE]’ across five Asian cities over seven sessions. They are also set to expand their global activities by performing at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘Summer Sonic 2024,’ in August.
