YG Entertainment’s rookie group BABYMONSTER is currently on a successful debut fan meeting tour. On June 15, they shared behind-the-scenes content from their first fan meeting tour kickoff in Tokyo, Japan, through their official account.


Embarking on their first international schedule, the airport buzzed with crowds eagerly awaiting BABYMONSTER. With enthusiastic farewells and cheers, the members arrived in Japan and soon shook off their nerves to dive into rehearsals, impressing with their professional demeanor akin to actual performance conditions.


As this was the inauguration of the tour, the venue was filled with numerous local fans anticipating their first encounter with BABYMONSTER. Fans warmed up the atmosphere by taking photos at the photo zone and striking BABYMONSTER’s signature poses.


BABYMONSTER could hardly contain their excitement. Each member relaxed in their own way before stepping onto the stage with determination. Opening with ‘SHEESH’, their dynamic performance and a mix of tracks from their debut reality show raised the fans’ heart rates amid standing ovations and explosive cheers.


BABYMONSTER’s commanding live performance and stage presence kept the excitement at the venue at its peak. Moreover, during talk time, they communicated closely with fans in fluent Japanese, enhancing the fun and reaffirming their status as ‘all-rounders’.


The energy continued in the second performance as well. After spending two days with approximately 26,000 fans, the members expressed their gratitude: “We were moved by everyone enjoying our songs and dances. Thank you for making it a happy conclusion to the end.”


BABYMONSTER has proven their overwhelming ticket power through their ongoing debut fan meeting tour ‘BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE’. Despite initially scheduling two shows on July 30 and 31 in Kobe, Japan, the weekday slots sold out quickly, prompting the addition of a third show on the afternoon of July 31.

Therefore, BABYMONSTER will connect with more fans across six cities in Asia over ten sessions.
