BABYMONSTER Surpasses 6 Million YouTube Subscribers, Cementing Their Global Popularity

YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has surpassed 6 million YouTube subscribers, proving their strong global popularity.

YG Entertainment announced on June 25 that BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel had exceeded 6 million subscribers. This milestone comes just about a year and a half after the channel’s inception, a remarkable achievement for a group that has only recently made their official debut.

The number of YouTube subscribers is a significant indicator of a loyal fanbase within the global music market. Even before their debut, BABYMONSTER had already made a mark among fans worldwide with their unique talents, drawing in 4 million subscribers.

Following the release of their debut track ‘SHEESH’ on April 1, the growth in subscribers accelerated even more. YG highlighted that the channel is gaining over 10,000 new subscribers daily. As their music broadcasts and other activities commenced, the group’s live performance skills received high praise, contributing to a broadening fan base.

Fittingly dubbed the next ‘YouTube Queens,’ their view counts are also impressive. There are four videos exceeding 100 million views, including music videos and high-quality performance videos, behind-the-scenes content, and more, pushing their total views past 2 billion.

Additionally, BABYMONSTER is set to release a new song ‘FOREVER’ at midnight on July 1, continuing to drive their popularity. Currently, they are successfully conducting their first fan meeting tour ‘[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE]’. They are also scheduled to perform at Japan’s largest music festival ‘Summer Sonic 2024’ in August, further solidifying their position as a leading global group.
