BABYMONSTER to Debut New Song ‘FOREVER’ on ‘Inkigayo’…YG Entertainment Teases Diverse Activities

YG Entertainment’s fresh girl group BABYMONSTER is set to kick off their official activities through SBS ‘Inkigayo’. According to YG Entertainment on the 6th, BABYMONSTER will appear on ‘Inkigayo’ this coming 7th to stage their new song ‘FOREVER’. This performance follows their debut track ‘SHEESH’, which already showcased their strong aura, and promises to reveal another side of their bright charm that has fans eagerly anticipating.

‘FOREVER’ reinterprets 80s synthpop into a dance pop genre that fits BABYMONSTER’s style. It features a lively sound, dynamic progression, and a hip-hop vibe melting into an addictive chorus, which has been well received.

Especially notable is the music video where BABYMONSTER displayed a free-spirited energy and confident attitude characteristic of a ‘YG summer song’. This mood, perfectly combined with the members’ unique performance skills, is expected to deliver an enjoyable stage.

Starting with this ‘Inkigayo’ performance, BABYMONSTER will continue to engage actively with fans both domestically and internationally. YG mentioned, “We are preparing for a variety of activities including appearances on music shows, radio, and YouTube, so please look forward to them.”

The newly released song ‘FOREVER’ has climbed to the top ranks of the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart since its release on July 1. The music video also topped the list of ‘most viewed videos within 24 hours’ on YouTube, contributing to a dramatic increase in subscribers on their official YouTube channel, now exceeding 6.28 million.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently conducting their first fan meeting tour ‘[BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE]’ across seven cities in Asia. They will wrap up the tour with a grand finale on August 10th and 11th at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul.
