YG’s group TREASURE celebrated their second fan meeting tour in Japan with a highly successful popup store. The store was operational from July 18 to July 23 at the Daimaru Umeda store in Osaka. Following a warmly received popup in Tokyo, an additional opening was arranged in Osaka due to overwhelming fan response.
This popup store featured a variety of items, from first-time revealed limited edition merchandise to new products commemorating the tour, all showcasing trendy and unique designs that have maintained consistent popularity. The store was not only filled with photo opportunities featuring all ten members, but also offered a wide range of attractions and activities, garnering great enthusiasm not just from existing fans but also from the general public.
Accompanying the popup store, TREASURE’s ‘Shining Solo’ themed cafes are fostering a festive atmosphere across six Japanese cities: Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka, Aichi, Miyagi, and Fukuoka. ‘Shining Solo’, which concluded in May, stayed at the top of the popularity rankings on major Japanese OTT platforms for nine consecutive weeks, reflecting its sustained popularity and leading to the launch of popup cafes in major urban areas.
Following the recent success of their second full album ‘REBOOT’ which earned a Double Platinum from the Japan Record Association and also capturing local terrestrial drama OSTs, TREASURE is currently expanding their reach with an unusual large-scale fan meeting tour for an overseas artist, covering six cities and 23 sessions. The momentum is expected to continue to accelerate.
In Kanagawa, TREASURE launched the second leg of their Japanese fan meeting tour, attracting 40,000 fans, and after moving through Hiroshima and Hyogo, they are set to continue to Aichi, Tokyo, and Fukuoka. The Hyogo performances, which ran for three days starting on the 18th, sold out for all five shows, demonstrating the group’s strong drawing power.
