2NE1 Sells Out Additional Seoul Concert Show, Proving Their Status as K-Pop Legends
In celebration of their 15th debut anniversary, 2NE1 has once again demonstrated their overwhelming ticket-selling power by selling out an additional show for their Seoul concert.
According to YG Entertainment, the added show for the ‘2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN SEOUL’ scheduled for October 4th at the Olympic Hall, Olympic Park in Seoul, has sold out all seats. Despite being on a weekday, all seats were filled immediately after going on sale the previous day, showcasing the intense interest of music fans towards the group.
The initial two shows had previously caused a fierce ticket frenzy, with over 400,000 simultaneous online users trying to secure tickets. Following the immense demand and subsequent fan requests for more dates, the added October 4th show quickly sold out, resulting in all three dates on October 4th, 5th, and 6th being completely sold out.
As the return of the ‘K-Pop Legend Girl Group’ 2NE1, the atmosphere is already heated despite the concerts being about a month and a half away. Recently, CL appeared as a guest at a Treasure concert, delivering a powerful performance, and the continuous updates from the members who are diligently practicing, shared through their personal social media, are further heightening expectations.
A representative from YG stated, “The members are also preparing with excited hearts for the upcoming meetings with fans who have waited a long time. We hope you will enjoy these meaningful moments together and show lots of interest in the upcoming global tour.”
Following the Seoul concerts, 2NE1 will move to Kobe World Hall in Japan at the end of November and then to the Ariake Arena in Tokyo in early December. Additionally, the four members are set to announce an expanded Asia tour schedule, anticipating a hot response from music fans worldwide.
