BABYMONSTER Impresses with Overwhelming Live Performance in Bangkok Fan Meeting, Hometown of PHARITA and CHIQUITA

Rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has shared behind-the-scenes footage from their debut fan meeting tour, with the fifth city being Bangkok. On August 30, YG Entertainment posted “BABYMONSTER – SEE YOU THERE BEHIND in BANGKOK” on their official blog, featuring special memories in Thailand, the homeland of members PHARITA and CHIQUITA.

The first event in Thailand, a public fan signing, saw massive crowds of fans eagerly waiting to meet BABYMONSTER. The members, who had studied Thai diligently, communicated warmly with the local MONSTIEZ (the fandom name), and performed ‘SHEESH’ on a special stage, showcasing their exceptional love for fans.

On the day of the fan meeting, PHARITA and CHIQUITA, performing in front of their family and friends for the first time, could hardly hide their nervous excitement. However, once the music started, BABYMONSTER delivered a compelling live performance with relaxed stage presence, heating up the atmosphere. The audience responded by lighting up the venue with their phone flashes, and the members were visibly moved, comforting each other with warm smiles. The members expressed, “It was so wonderful to meet our Thai fans for the first time. We promise to return with an even more developed image.”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER recently completed a successful 12-show debut fan meeting tour across seven Asian cities and performed at Japan’s largest music festival, ‘SUMMER SONIC 2024’. With momentum on their side, they are expected to ignite further popularity with the release of their first full-length album this fall.
