BABYMONSTER Launches Bold Promotions for Their First Album with Song Teasers Every Friday & Saturday
YG Entertainment’s fresh act BABYMONSTER is set to roll out preview tracks from their debut full album [DRIP], kicking off a full-scale promotional campaign.
On the 9th, YG Entertainment posted ‘[DRIP] THIS WEEK’S PREVIEW TRACKS’ on their official blog. The poster, eye-catching with pink paint dripping across the frame, outlines the teaser schedule for this week. According to the schedule, the first track ‘CLIK CLAK’ will be unveiled on the 11th, followed by the third track ‘Love, Maybe’ on the 12th. Both tracks showcase the full group’s participation in rap for an original hip-hop genre track and a slow-tempo song that highlights their vocal talents, promising a broad spectrum of music styles.
YG will continue to release parts of the remaining six tracks every Friday and Saturday, building up the comeback atmosphere. This aggressive promotional strategy, never before attempted by YG, reflects a unique confidence in the musical quality of not only the title track but all the songs on the album.
Furthermore, since their official debut as a seven-member group last April, BABYMONSTER has gained considerable experience from fan meeting tours to performing at Japan’s largest music festival, Summer Sonic. Their overwhelming talent has solidified their reputation as fully-fledged artists, drawing keen interest in their new musical endeavors.
The complete tracks of BABYMONSTER’s debut album [DRIP] will be released on November 1st at 1 PM. The album, comprising nine tracks including the title track ‘DRIP’ composed by G-DRAGON, is accompanied by several music videos, marking a major project fitting for their first studio album.
