BABYMONSTER Explodes with Hip-Hop Aura in ‘CLIK CLAK’ Performance Reveal

The debut performance of ‘CLIK CLAK,’ one of the double title tracks from YG Entertainment’s new girl group BABYMONSTER, has been unveiled for the first time.

On the 3rd, YG Entertainment posted the ‘BABYMONSTER – ‘CLIK CLAK’ PERFORMANCE VIDEO’ on its official blog. The video showcases detailed dance movements of the seven members and the entire performance, marking the grand reveal of their comeback stage.

Thanks to YG’s in-house video production system, the staging maximized the inherent charm of the song and the members. The bold black and white color treatment and the stylish camera movements perfectly captured BABYMONSTER’s original hip-hop mood.

The ‘CLIK CLAK’ performance was completed in collaboration with world-renowned choreographers like Rie Hata and Kinjaz. BABYMONSTER enhanced the allure with their relaxed gestures, elegant dynamics, and varied expressions. The choreography, cleverly expressing the lyrics, continuously caught the eye.

The synergy of BABYMONSTER’s youthful charm with YG’s unique hip-hop vibe is distinctively powerful. The restrained energy in the latter half explodes into a dynamic group dance, reaffirming their polished skills.

Previously, BABYMONSTER had demonstrated their monstrous potential with perfect live performances on various stages and had written a reverse-hit saga with the debut album title ‘SHEESH.’ With this full album comeback, there are high expectations for their active promotions of the double title songs ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLIK CLAK,’ followed by the subsequent track ‘Love In My Heart.’

BABYMONSTER released their 1st full album [DRIP] on the 1st. This album soared to the top of the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart and dominated the Japan Line Music Album Top 100 Real-Time Chart. In China, on the QQ Music ‘Rising Chart,’ ‘Popularity Chart,’ ‘New Song Chart,’ and ‘Trend Index Chart,’ the album’s tracks, including the double title tracks ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLIK CLAK,’ have consistently ranked high.

The music videos are also making a mark on various global indices. The ‘DRIP’ music video immediately rocketed to the number one spot for ‘Most Viewed Video Within 24 Hours’ upon release, while ‘CLIK CLAK’ maintained its position in the global YouTube Daily Popular Chart TOP10 for three consecutive days. The view counts boast 28.7 million and 33 million views, respectively, continuing a dual rise in popularity.
