BABYMONSTER Set to Appear on ‘Inkigayo’ and ‘Running Man’ Today
YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER is kickstarting their activities for their first full album ‘DRIP’.
BABYMONSTER will be performing on the November 10 broadcast of SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’. They plan to showcase both title tracks ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLIK CLAK’ in a dazzling debut performance on the music show.
The perfect live performance with handheld microphones is anticipated to boost the popularity of their new tracks. During their debut with the title track ‘SHEESH’, the members had previously captivated the public with their skills, creating a reverse-run myth on various charts.
Following ‘Inkigayo’, members RAMI and RORA are scheduled to make their first appearance on ‘Running Man’, further elevating the comeback atmosphere. Known among fans for their outstanding charm and witty banter, they are expected to win over viewers’ hearts in this broadcast.
In anticipation of their active presence across various platforms including music shows, variety shows, radio, and YouTube, YG Entertainment had surprised fans by releasing a reaction video to the music video of ‘CLIK CLAK’ on November 9.
Gathered in the studio, the members watched the music video with excited hearts, praising each other’s parts, saying “That’s so cool” and “It’s a totally new vibe”. They expressed satisfaction with the music video, especially the rooftop scene shot with chroma key, showcasing impressive transformations.
BABYMONSTER’s exceptional efforts to deliver top results are evident. Members described their behind-the-scenes struggles to capture new visuals and complete takes within limited time, expressing a desire for listeners to enjoy their rap-heavy track. “We hope everyone feels the hip vibe from our song, and we ask for lots of love,” they said.
BABYMONSTER has been making waves globally since the release of ‘DRIP’ on November 1. The album topped the iTunes Album Charts in 14 regions and reached number one on Japan’s Line Music Album Top 100 Real-time Chart.
