BABYMONSTER’s RORA, a High School Student and New Icon of ‘Cute Clueless’

RORA, a current high school student and member of YG Entertainment’s group BABYMONSTER, emits unexpected ‘cute cluelessness’.

On the November 10th broadcast of SBS ‘Running Man’, a high school themed autumn picnic is featured where students compete in a beyond-the-ordinary class president election race by collecting badges.

During the recent filming, the last chance to earn a badge was in the ‘No Pain, No Gain Quiz’, where the team members were divided into lower and upper scholars.

The lower scholars had to correctly answer the quizzes, while the upper scholars needed to drink a prepared beverage to grant their team members a chance to answer correctly. Despite being a team, the lower scholars playfully kept shouting “Correct!” even without knowing the answers, leading to widespread ‘team kills’ and promising big laughs at the scene.

RORA, being an active high school student, was expected to have an advantage in the brain quizzes but turned the tables by showing her blundering charm. Despite receiving multiple hints, RORA, representing the lower scholars, struggled to grasp the clues and confidently shouted answers that turned out to be incorrect, earning her recognition as the ‘newbie cute clueless’ among the members.

On the other hand, the notorious ‘Cute Clueless Leader’ Yang Se-chan displayed unexpected growth from difficult idioms to English acronyms, earning a heartfelt hug from Kim Jong-kook.
