BABYMONSTER Boasts Live Skills with Three-level High Notes in Handheld MIC Performance
Girl group BABYMONSTER has shaken the hearts of global fans with their impeccable live performance skills displayed on stage.
On the afternoon of the 16th, BABYMONSTER appeared on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ where they performed one of their double title tracks, ‘DRIP’. The group captured the audience’s attention instantly with their unique aura, emerging in chic blue-toned outfits. Despite the ever-changing choreography, their vocals remained solid, and their sharp rapping on the beats delivered a powerful impact at every moment.
Especially noteworthy was their enhanced stage presence. The powerful point moves and the maximum energy that seemed to overflow kept the audience glued to their performance. The explosive three-octave high notes towards the end particularly drew admiring gasps from the viewers.
The concert-like stage garnered enthusiastic responses from music fans right after the broadcast. Critics praised BABYMONSTER as ‘Monster Rookies’ for their overwhelming talent, and fans commented that their vibrant live performances enhanced the charm of the song even further.
In fact, ‘DRIP’ has been climbing various charts impressively since its debut on music shows last week. It has secured a stable position in the high-entry barrier Melon TOP100, continuously rising in rank, and has also set personal bests on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S and Global 200 charts, reaching 16th and 30th positions respectively.
Riding on this momentum, BABYMONSTER is set to deliver another handheld mic live performance on SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ this afternoon, raising high expectations. Additionally, their popularity is expected to ignite further as they sweep across various platforms, including broadcasts and YouTube.
