TREASURE Unveils Upcoming Plans for 2025…YANG HYUN SUK “Plan for New Idol Debut”

YANG HYUN SUK, YG’s Executive Producer, has personally disclosed TREASURE’s comeback schedule and the active plans for 2025.

On December 2, YG Entertainment posted on their official blog an announcement titled “TREASURE NEWS & 2025 YG PLAN | YG Announcement.” This release outlines TREASURE’s activities, set to unfold with increased momentum from the end of this year into the next. YANG HYUN SUK took the lead to explain these plans.

TREASURE’s new digital single titled ‘LAST NIGHT’ is set to be released on December 5. Following this, YANG HYUN SUK detailed a tight promotion schedule leading into a mini album in February next year and a full album between July and August, promising, “Next year, we will undertake many activities that we couldn’t do this year.”

Fans can anticipate a fresh charm distinct from TREASURE’s usual explosive performances and intense charisma. “TREASURE is aiming to introduce a different concept from before,” said YANG HYUN SUK, adding, “We are preparing an album that can more comfortably convey their honest emotions to everyone.”

Significant changes within TREASURE were also announced. Starting January 1, 2025, JUNKYU and ASAHI will take over leadership roles from CHOI HYUN SUK and PARK JI HOON, driving the team forward as part of the ten-member group’s efforts to enrich their identity through diverse endeavors. With this new beginning, TREASURE plans to engage with as many global fans as possible through a special event in March and a world tour starting in October.

Additionally, YG revealed aggressive activity roadmaps for other artists like BABYMONSTER, WINNER, AKMU, and BLACKPINK, all preparing for world tours. YANG HYUN SUK mentioned, “There are quite a few trainees at YG awaiting debut. We will update you on the specific debut dates later,” heightening expectations for the launch of new groups.

Meanwhile, on the same day, YG Entertainment released the ‘TREASURE – ‘LAST NIGHT’ Credit Poster’ on their official blog. The poster features a starlit night sky with the title ‘LAST NIGHT’ inscribed in a striking typography, while the profound gazes and dapper styling of the TREASURE members in the poster further amplify curiosity about the new song’s concept.

As expected of TREASURE, who consistently push musical boundaries, the names of members ASAHI, CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO catch the eye for their involvement in the lyrics, with powerhouse producers like Kang Wook-Jin, Diggy, and Jared Lee contributing, promising yet another compelling output.
