BABYMONSTER Surprises Fans with a School Uniform Concept in their Fourth MV for ‘Really Like You’
YG Entertainment’s rising girl group BABYMONSTER has sparked global fan excitement with a surprise teaser for the music video of ‘Really Like You’, a track from their first full album ‘DRIP’.
On the 17th, YG Entertainment posted ‘We Really Like You’ on their official blog, where members personally shared news about the making of the ‘Really Like You’ music video, and highlighted exciting aspects of their upcoming world tour, capturing the attention of music fans.
‘Really Like You’ is a ’90s hip-hop R&B style track with a groovy sound that encapsulates the thrill and innocence of young love in its lyrics. The video preview showed BABYMONSTER in school uniforms for the first time, hinting at another transformation with a school-themed set.
This is already the fourth music video for their debut album [DRIP], following the double title tracks ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLIK CLAK’, and the follow-up song ‘Love In My Heart’. Each video has showcased different moods of the songs through stunning visuals, unraveling the diverse musical world of BABYMONSTER.
There was also a teaser for fans eagerly awaiting BABYMONSTER’s debut world tour. The members said, “We are preparing a lot of things,” and “Expect a great show, as we are preparing a live band performance for our first concert.” They shared updates on their rigorous practice schedule to ensure the best stage for their audience.
Also, performances of ‘Really Like You’ and other tracks from [DRIP] are included in a rich setlist teased for the concert. BABYMONSTER expressed unique confidence, promising fans, “You will see everything you have been hoping for at the concert,” amplifying the anticipation for their debut performance.
BABYMONSTER will launch their ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR IN SEOUL’ at the Seoul KSPO DOME on January 25 and 26, marking the start of their debut world tour. They will then move on to global destinations including Newark, Los Angeles, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka, expanding their international reach.
