BABYMONSTER Showcases Passionate ‘DRIP’ Performance Video Behind-The-Scenes

YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER has released behind-the-scenes footage of their highly acclaimed performance video, captivating fans with their polished routines.

On December 24, YG Entertainment posted on their official blog titled ‘BABYMONSTER – ‘DRIP & CLIK CLAK’ PERFORMANCE VIDEO BEHIND’. The video showcases the making of the double title tracks ‘DRIP’ and ‘CLIK CLAK’, capturing the essence of the choreography against a minimalist horizon background.

Before filming ‘DRIP’, BABYMONSTER warmed up the atmosphere by demonstrating their signature ‘shake dance’. From the first take, the members unleashed their energy with powerful movements, enhancing the mood of the track with their compelling facial expressions and unique expressiveness.

For the best outcome, YG EXECUTIVE PRODUCER YANG HYUN SUK was also present at the scene. He contributed helpful advice, including a creative use of jackets to highlight the members in the forefront during unit dances. The members quickly absorbed the feedback, captivating the audience with richer and bolder performances.

In ‘CLIK CLAK’, BABYMONSTER ditched casual attire for a sleek all-black look. Opposing the lively charm of ‘DRIP’, the members donned a fierce aura, aiming to “express our own freedom within the structured choreography” with fervor.

True to YG’s original hip-hop style, BABYMONSTER perfectly executed the relaxed swagger and dynamic intensity of their routines. Their energetic performances kept the tension high until the end, encouraging each other and drawing smiles from the viewers.

Meanwhile, today (December 25), BABYMONSTER will appear at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon’ to celebrate the year-end with fans. They are set to kick off their debut world tour ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR <HELLO MONSTERS> IN SEOUL’ on January 25 and 26 at the Seoul KSPO DOME, followed by shows in Newark, Los Angeles, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, and Fukuoka.
