BABYMONSTER Climbs the Charts with Unstoppable Momentum
BABYMONSTER has captured the hearts of global fans with their unique talents, and this popularity is translating into impressive chart performances for their title track ‘DRIP’.
According to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER’s title track ‘DRIP’ from their debut album has recently soared to the top 10 of the MelOn HOT100 and reached 26th on the TOP100 charts. The song has also claimed the 8th spot on Bugs and continues to set new personal records daily on major domestic music charts like Genie, Flo, and VIBE.
The group’s overwhelming live capabilities and stage presence have once again served as a catalyst for climbing music rankings. Recently, they appeared at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon’, where they performed ‘DRIP’ using their signature handheld mic live, earning rave reviews from both domestic and international music fans.
In fact, their ‘Gayo Daejeon’ performance video, posted on the SBS official YouTube channel last December 25th, has already surpassed 5 million views. This marks the second-highest figure for a girl group debut at YG following 2NE1, proving their significant impact and buzz as newcomers.
Their trajectory on Japan’s YouTube ‘THE FIRST TAKE’ is equally remarkable. Less than two weeks after its release, the one-take live video crossed 5 million views, continuing to rank among the most rapidly ascending videos. Given their consistent millions of views across broadcasts and YouTube appearances, the group is expected to further expand its influence.
BABYMONSTER will kick off their debut world tour with the ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR IN SEOUL’ at the Seoul KSPO DOME on the 25th and 26th of this month. They will then travel to the USA, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, connecting with fans around the world.
