No Wonder BABYMONSTER Is Known As LIVE MASTERS…YG YANG HYUN SUK Directly Monitors the Group

As BABYMONSTER continues to climb the music charts with their title track “DRIP,” they revealed behind-the-scenes glimpses from their comeback stage on the 13th. Particularly noteworthy was the direct monitoring by YG’s Executive Producer, YANG HYUN SUK.

During the first week of their activities for “DRIP,” BABYMONSTER gathered in the rehearsal room to prepare for their SBS “Inkigayo” performance. Despite changes to their choreography due to the use of handheld microphones, they did not miss a beat and adapted seamlessly, their painstaking rehearsals evident in their flawless performance.

The passion of BABYMONSTER was undiminished even on the day of the broadcast. CHIQUITA continued practicing the dance moves in the waiting room ahead of the pre-recording, with the members syncing perfectly, maintaining high energy up until the live show.

With numerous stage performances under their belt, the members now enjoy a newfound ease. RORA remarked, “This is the same waiting room we used during our first broadcast of ‘SHEESH.’ I was really nervous and tense back then, but now, I’m excited to see our fans MONSTIEZ after such a long time,” sharing a more mature perspective that brought smiles all around.

Embracing this excitement, BABYMONSTER took to the comeback stage with contrasting charms in “CLIK CLAK” and “DRIP.” Powered by enthusiastic fan responses, the members showcased their individuality through distinct rapping styles and steady three-tiered high notes, culminating in a triumphant first pre-recording.

Thanks to BABYMONSTER’s overwhelming live capabilities, “DRIP” has been ascending major music charts, maintaining its popularity with a current position at No. 10 on Melon HOT100 and No. 18 on TOP100, and reaching No. 7 on Bugs, continuously setting new personal bests even two months post-release.

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is set to kick off their first world tour at the Seoul KSPO DOME on the 25th and 26th. They will then travel to twelve cities across the United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, and Jakarta, meeting fans globally across twenty-one shows.
