BABYMONSTER has once again stirred the hearts of global fans with the sixth music video from their first full album [DRIP], titled ‘BILLIONAIRE’. Released under the banner of EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO on February 7, the ‘BILLIONAIRE’ music video showcases unique facets of BABYMONSTER, continuously capturing the viewer’s attention. The styling, featuring black and white with red accents, expresses their powerful charisma, and the fluttering skirts integrated into the choreography enhance the enchanting atmosphere of the song.

The performance, under the comprehensive direction of YG EXECUTIVE PRODUCER YANG HYUN SUK and choreographed by world-renowned Sienna LaLau among a team of four, showcases an unprecedented charm and proves the group’s ability to master any genre. Notably, movements inspired by the Flamenco genre are effectively used, including Palmas (hand clapping), waves under the skirt with fabric held in their hands, and shoulder dances that resonate with the song’s title, altogether creating a sensual groove and hip vibe that are highly addictive.

YG’s EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO, personally overseen from planning to editing by YANG HYUN SUK, is a unique content format. This includes LISA’s ‘MONEY’ EXCLUSIVE PERFORMANCE VIDEO, which has reached nearly one billion views, and BLACKPINK’s performance videos, all meticulously crafted by YANG himself.

Unlike regular music videos that use extensive computer graphics and locations, this format captures raw, unfiltered performances. This ‘BILLIONAIRE’ video, in particular, retains dynamic camera work, overwhelming energy in solo parts, and delicate expressions, earning high praise for translating intricate dance details not usually seen in conventional music videos.

Three months after the release of [DRIP], the continuous unveiling of high-quality content has significantly accelerated BABYMONSTER’s global popularity, even though they debuted less than a year ago. BABYMONSTER is set to expand their global reach with their first world tour ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR ‘HELLO MONSTERS’’, starting with a successful show at the K-pop Mecca, KSPO DOME in Seoul.
