BABYMONSTER to Drop New Song After 8 Months….Reveals Visual Teaser for ‘HOT SAUCE’
BABYMONSTER is finally making a comeback after eight months.
On June 23, YG Entertainment unveiled the teaser poster for the pre-release single titled I’m like ‘HOT SAUCE’ on its official blog. The image showcases a vibrant neon billboard logo seamlessly matched with the group’s striking visuals.
BABYMONSTER instantly captured attention with playful expressions and carefree gestures. Their retro-inspired styling in bold primary colors delivers a modern twist on 1980s old-school hip-hop, amplifying each member’s unique charm.
The brightly colored billboard logo contrasted against a white background also leaves a strong impression. The vivid, luminous tones hint at a summery and “hot” track, heightening anticipation for what kind of new transformation BABYMONSTER, known for their ever-evolving concept versatility, will present this time.
The pre-release single HOT SAUCE is set to drop on July 1 at 6 PM. YG EXECUTIVE PRODUCER YANG HYUN SUK had previously hinted, “We prepared this like a gift, hoping you’ll have a fun summer,” describing the track as “a highly addictive hip-hop song reminiscent of the late 1980s.”
He also previewed BABYMONSTER’s carefully mapped-out activities for the year, which include a second single in September and a mini album release in October. As such, expectations are high for the group’s upcoming promotional run.
Meanwhile, HOT SAUCE promotions will feature six members, RUKA, PHARITA, ASA, AHYEON, RORA, and CHIQUITA, excluding RAMI. YG stated, “RAMI still needs ample time for recovery. As this decision prioritizes the artist’s health, we ask for your understanding,” and added, “We will continue to fully support RAMI’s recovery and BABYMONSTER’s activities.”
