BLACKPINK is expanding its Asia concert schedule, fueled by overwhelming fan response as they successfully pass the midpoint of their world tour.
On September 19, YG Entertainment shared a new poster for BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE> via the group’s official social media accounts. According to the announcement,
BLACKPINK will hold additional concerts on November 28 in Singapore and January 26 in Hong Kong, bringing the total number of shows in each city to six.
The decision came in response to soaring global demand. YG explained that tickets for the originally scheduled shows sold out rapidly upon release, resulting in a flood of inquiries for added performances. To meet this demand, the group opted to expand its tour schedule.
With this, BLACKPINK will hold a total of 20 concerts across 8 cities in Asia. Previously, the group announced shows in Goyang in July, followed by Kaohsiung on October 18 and 19, Bangkok on October 24, 25, and 26, Jakarta on November 1 and 2, Bulacan on November 22 and 23, Singapore on November 29 and 30, Tokyo on January 16, 17, and 18, and Hong Kong on January 24 and 25.
Notably, most of the venues BLACKPINK is performing in are stadium-level arenas capable of hosting tens of thousands of fans, reinforcing their global superstar status. The tour’s momentum is further bolstered by the success of their recent hit single 'JUMP', which has been sweeping charts worldwide.
Currently, BLACKPINK is in the midst of their largest tour yet, BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>, which spans 33 shows in 16 cities. After wrapping successful runs in North America and Europe, the group will head to Asia starting in October.
