BABYMONSTER’s 'DRIP' MV Surpasses 300 Million Views Ahead of 2nd Mini Album Comeback

2025.09.28

BABYMONSTER has added another milestone to their record, hitting 300 million views on YouTube with 'DRIP' just days before their comeback.

According to YG Entertainment on the 28th, the music video for 'DRIP', the title track from the group’s 1st full-length album, surpassed 300 million views on YouTube at 2:58 a.m. that day. The achievement comes roughly 331 days after its release on November 1 last year.

Upon release, the MV shot straight to No. 1 on YouTube’s “Most Viewed in 24 Hours” chart, stayed on the global daily chart for 19 consecutive days, and surpassed 100 million views within just 21 days. The track also made an impressive impact on the charts, debuting at No. 16 on Billboard Global Excl. U.S and No. 30 on the Billboard Global 200, marking the group’s highest placements to date.

With this, BABYMONSTER now holds three music videos with over 300 million views. Their debut track 'SHEESH', which set the record for fastest K-pop girl group debut MV to reach the milestone, and pre-debut single 'BATTER UP' had previously joined the list.

The group continues to prove their meteoric rise on YouTube, recently becoming the fastest K-pop girl group (1 year and 5 months since debut) to surpass 10 million subscribers on their official channel. With 11 videos in the 100-million-view club and more than 5.6 billion cumulative views, BABYMONSTER is solidifying their status as the next “YouTube Queens.”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER will make their comeback on October 10 with their 2nd MINI ALBUM [WE GO UP]. The album features four new tracks: the powerful hip-hop-based title song 'WE GO UP,' the impactful 'PSYCHO,' the hip-hop-infused slow jam 'SUPA DUPA LUV,' and the country dance-inspired 'WILD.'
