BABYMONSTER Unleashes Action Charisma in ‘WE GO UP’ MV Behind-the-Scenes

 The behind-the-scenes footage of BABYMONSTER’s intense action-packed filming for the music video of their 2nd mini album title track ‘WE GO UP’ was unveiled on October 12.

This music video was produced under the concept of female warriors confronting different villains. Unlike their previous choreography-focused videos, this one centered on action acting, with members undergoing rigorous training at an action school to perfect each high-level scene.

Once filming began, the members fully immersed themselves in their roles with professional focus. ASA, playing the “Cyborg Swordmaster,” flawlessly executed complex wire stunts while handling the weight of her sword. RUKA, the “Assassin,” overcame her fear of heights to deliver a commanding two-story fall scene.

CHIQUITA, as the “Fighter,” showcased powerful hand-to-hand combat, while RORA, the “Sniper,” impressed with her precise long-rifle loading movements. PHARITA, portraying the “Psychic,” completed a demanding mountain wire scene despite harsh weather conditions, and AHYEON, the “Bomber,” poured her energy into perfecting every last detail until the final take. The members meticulously adjusted facial expressions and movements, demonstrating relentless dedication to achieve the best possible results.

Throughout the shoot, BABYMONSTER kept the atmosphere bright and positive on set. RORA was seen helping ASA with her makeup and snapping photos, displaying their warm chemistry that delighted fans. The members shared, “We had so much fun preparing for this, and we think it’ll be an unforgettable music video,” adding, “Please give lots of love to ‘WE GO UP.’”

BABYMONSTER made their comeback on October 10 with their 2nd mini album [WE GO UP], which has already topped the iTunes Worldwide Albums Chart. The title track’s music video also became the most-viewed video within 24 hours and reached No. 1 on YouTube’s worldwide trending chart, signaling a strong start.

The group continues to engage fans through music shows, radio appearances, and YouTube content, repaying the outpouring of support. On October 14, BABYMONSTER will release an exclusive performance video revealing the full choreography of ‘WE GO UP’.
