BABYMONSTER, the Only K-pop Group Invited to Japan’s Prestigious Year-End Music Festival… Set to Dominate Domestic and Global Year-End Stages

As the year-end award season approaches, all eyes are on BABYMONSTER and their dazzling global activities.

According to YG Entertainment on October 31, BABYMONSTER has been confirmed to perform at the “Best Hits Kayousai 2025”, a live year-end music special broadcast by Yomiuri TV, taking place on November 13 at Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka, Japan.

“Best Hits Kayousai” is one of Japan’s most historic and prestigious year-end music shows, alongside “Kohaku Uta Gassen” and “FNS Music Festival.” This marks BABYMONSTER’s first-ever appearance at a Japanese year-end festival, and notably, they are the only K-pop artist included in this year’s lineup.

In addition to Japan, BABYMONSTER is also confirmed to appear at major Korean year-end award shows, including Mnet’s “2025 MAMA Awards” and SBS’s “2025 Gayo Daejeon.” Renowned for their strong live vocals and commanding stage presence, the group is expected to deliver performances worthy of their “performance powerhouse” reputation as they close out the year.

Even before their official Japanese debut, BABYMONSTER achieved remarkable success in Japan, solidifying their status as a leading 5th-generation girl group. They have maintained long-running success on music charts, appeared on national TV music shows, received invitations to major music festivals, and signed with global brands as models.

Their 2nd mini album “WE GO UP” topped Japan’s Oricon Album Chart on its release day, while also sweeping top spots on iTunes, AWA, and Rakuten Music. Additionally, the title track “DRIP” from their 1st full album recently surpassed 100 million streams on Oricon, continuing its long-term success.

Earlier this year, during the “2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR ‘HELLO MONSTERS’ IN JAPAN,” the group attracted over 150,000 attendees, setting the record for the largest audience by a K-pop girl group in the shortest time since debut, proving their immense ticket power.

Fueled by this enthusiastic support from Japanese fans, BABYMONSTER will launch their 2025 fan concert “LOVE MONSTERS” starting November 15–16 at Lala Arena Tokyo Bay, followed by

performances in four cities across Japan, continuing their unstoppable momentum into the year’s end.
