BABYMONSTER Earn Praise for ‘PSYCHO’ Music Video… Endless Transformations
BABYMONSTER showcased an even bolder transformation with the music video for “PSYCHO,” earning enthusiastic responses from global fans.
Released on the 19th, the music video for “PSYCHO,” a track from their 2nd mini album WE GO UP, presents a conceptual atmosphere different from the title track “WE GO UP.” From BABYMONSTER’s ever-changing styling to dreamy direction that blurs the line between dream and reality and a mysterious storyline, the video delivers overwhelming immersion.
From a crime scene set reminiscent of a thriller film to a junkyard, the cinematic transitions between spaces leave a strong impression. By visualizing the powerful bass line and intense hip-hop swag of “PSYCHO,” the video heightens its pull and doubles the viewing pleasure.
In particular, BABYMONSTER’s expressive power, perfectly capturing the mood of the song, captivated everyone. They delicately portrayed confusion and fear while being chased by masked figures, then instantly transformed into nightmare-like beings, exuding sharp gazes and provocative gestures that highlighted each member’s unique aura.
The “PSYCHO” performance, pre-released during their Chiba show, also drew attention. From the synchronized stomping choreography that hits the beat of the bass to the signature monster-like hand gestures in the chorus, the performance left a powerful impact. BABYMONSTER’s signature energy and smooth dance lines made it impossible to look away.
Global fans are full of praise for BABYMONSTER’s limitless concept-digesting ability. Following the action-packed “WE GO UP” music video and the exclusive performance video with a mega-sized crew, this new conceptual transformation once again proves the group’s boundless charm.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently holding their fan concert tour BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] ASIA FAN CONCERT 2025-26. After wrapping up their Chiba concert, they will head to Nagoya, Tokyo, Kobe, Bangkok, and Taipei, connecting with fans across a total of 6 cities and 12 shows.
