YANG HYUN SUK Steps In Himself… YG to Host Special Audition

YG Entertainment is accelerating its efforts to discover the next-generation idols following BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER through a “Special Audition.”

On January 21, YG Entertainment announced the launch of ‘2026 YG SPECIAL AUDITION: GO! DEBUT,’ which will run from January 21 to February 28. This particular audition draws attention as YG’s executive producer YANG HYUN SUK will personally participate in the entire judging process.

As the subtitle “GO! DEBUT” suggests, this audition goes beyond simply selecting trainees, it reflects YG’s strong intention to unearth talents who will lead the future of the global K-pop market. Given YG’s track record of producing global stars like BIGBANG, 2NE1, BLACKPINK, WINNER, iKON, TREASURE, and BABYMONSTER, expectations are high for this round as well.

Applications are open until February 28 via the YG audition website or through the QR code on the official poster. Anyone born between 2007 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality, is eligible to apply. Applicants are required to submit a video under one minute showcasing their potential in one of the following categories: singing, rap, dance, visuals, or talent.
