BABYMONSTER to Release “I LIKE IT” Music Video on July 6, Raising Anticipation for Its Concept

BABYMONSTER has successfully wrapped up their Seoul concerts.

On June 29, YG ENTERTAINMENT posted “[CHOOM] – ‘I LIKE IT’ M/V ANNOUNCEMENT” on its official blog.

The newly unveiled poster immediately caught fans’ attention with its image of a pristine white yacht floating on a shimmering blue sea. Typography accented with wave and heart motifs further enhanced the lovely atmosphere, heightening curiosity about what kind of story the upcoming music video will tell.

“I LIKE IT” is a dance track driven by an appealing country-style guitar riff, with lyrics expressing the innocent excitement of young love. The performance, which was unveiled for the first time during BABYMONSTER’s Seoul concerts on June 26, 27, and 28, exuded a refreshing and bright atmosphere, earning enthusiastic responses from global fans.

YG ENTERTAINMENT stated, “To fully capture the song’s free-spirited and upbeat energy, the entire music video was filmed on location.” The company added, “We hope everyone enjoys a refreshing and heart-fluttering summer with ‘I LIKE IT,’ a summer song that offers a different charm from ‘SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA.'”
