BABYMONSTER’s “MOON” MV to Be Released on August 3… Striking Teaser Poster Unveiled

The music video for “MOON,” a track from BABYMONSTER’s third mini album [CHOOM], will be unveiled at midnight on August 3.

On July 27, YG ENTERTAINMENT posted “[CHOOM] ‘MOON’ M/V ANNOUNCEMENT” on its official blog. As previously announced by YG’s Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK, the company has confirmed the release of a fourth music video following the third mini album’s title track “CHOOM,” the digital single “SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,” and the B-side track “I LIKE IT.”

The newly unveiled teaser poster instantly commands attention with its striking image of a giant full moon illuminating a forest shrouded in darkness. Against the dreamy yet mysterious atmosphere created by the deep contrast of light and shadow, the song title “MOON,” emphasized in red typography, further heightens curiosity about the full music video.

“MOON” is a Southern trap-style R&B hip-hop track distinguished by its 808 bass and minimalist arrangement. The combination of synthesizer sounds and lyrics built around an eerie storyline creates a unique musical identity, earning praise from global music fans immediately upon its release.

YG stated, “For this music video, we focused on capturing the mysterious and dreamlike atmosphere of ‘MOON’ through sophisticated visuals,” adding, “It will showcase a new side of BABYMONSTER with a mood entirely different from the refreshing energy of ‘I LIKE IT.’”

Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently holding their second world tour, “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM],” which began with their Seoul concerts in June.
