BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” Performance Video Surpasses 200 Million Views
Group BABYMONSTER has proven the growth of its global fandom.
According to YG Entertainment, the performance video for “DRIP,” the title track of BABYMONSTER’s first full-length album, surpassed 200 million views on YouTube at around 1:08 a.m. on the 11th. The milestone was achieved about one year and nine months after the video was released on November 5, 2024.
The “DRIP” performance video is content that focuses on the members’ choreography and movements themselves rather than flashy devices. It intuitively captures the song’s intense mood and the members’ distinctive performances.
With this record, BABYMONSTER has added another YouTube content piece to its list of videos that have surpassed 200 million views. The group currently has a total of 17 pieces of content with hundreds of millions of views. Among them, five are performance videos. This confirms the solid foundation of its global fandom, as the group is drawing strong interest not only for its music but also for videos centered on performance.
The scale of the official YouTube channel is also continuing to grow. BABYMONSTER secured 10 million subscribers about one year and five months after debut, setting the shortest-period record among K-pop girl groups. The channel currently has close to 13 million subscribers. Its total cumulative views have exceeded 9.7 billion.
The group’s recent growth pace is also noteworthy. Since the release of its third mini album “CHOOM” in May, more than one million new subscribers have joined the channel. As various content, including four music videos and three performance videos, has been released in succession, interest in the channel has also risen.
BABYMONSTER is expanding its online popularity to offline stages as well. Starting with its Seoul concert in June, the group is currently carrying out its second world tour, “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM].” It is now continuing its Japan performances. The tour will expand to a total of five continents, including Asia, Oceania, South America, North America, and Europe.
