BABYMONSTER Surpasses 10 Billion YouTube Views… Sets Fastest Record for a K-pop Girl Group
BABYMONSTER has set another major milestone in K-pop history by surpassing 10 billion cumulative views on YouTube.
According to YG ENTERTAINMENT on September 3, cumulative views on BABYMONSTER’s official YouTube channel surpassed 10 billion that day. The achievement comes approximately three years and eight months after the channel was launched in December 2022, setting a new record for the fastest K-pop girl group to reach the milestone on a single official channel. BABYMONSTER is also only the second K-pop girl group in history to achieve the feat, following senior group BLACKPINK.
Not only have music videos for hit songs such as “SHEESH” with 410 million views, “DRIP” with 400 million views, and “BATTER UP” with 340 million views drawn explosive responses, but the group’s high-quality performance videos have also proven immensely popular. As a result, BABYMONSTER now has an impressive 17 videos with more than 100 million views. Their overwhelming live performance capabilities, combined with the high-quality production philosophy of YG’s Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK, have created strong synergy and fueled the group’s rapid growth.
The group’s official channel has also demonstrated the strength of its global fandom. After becoming the fastest K-pop girl group to surpass 10 million subscribers, BABYMONSTER became the third K-pop girl group to reach the 13 million subscriber milestone.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently embarking on their second world tour, “2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM],” which began in Seoul this past June. The group is set to travel across five continents for a total of 29 shows in 18 cities, further solidifying their position beyond that of a “YouTube Queen” and establishing themselves as a global top-tier artist.
