WINNER

This year, WINNER has demonstrated their incredible versatility through both group and solo endeavors, starting with [WE] and followed by JINU’s debut solo single album [JINU's HEYDAY]. Now, they have made a return as a complete group with their third mini-album [CROSS].

[CROSS] encapsulates the relationships, music, and unique story that only WINNER can create as the four members, each possessing their own direction and characteristics, cross paths (X) and unite to form a fresh fusion (+) under the name “WINNER.” The title track “SOSO” is a collaboration between leader YOON and AiRPLAY, depicting the contrast of the turbulent inner emotions of pain and anger following a breakup with a seemingly indifferent exterior, expressed as a “just so-so” state. Fans can anticipate a taste of “WINNER-style autumn ambiance,” a departure from their previous summer and refreshing themes that have become synonymous with WINNER's music.

The music video was directed by Kwon Yongsoo, who also collaborated with JINU on his solo track “Call Anytime (Feat. MINO).” The album [CROSS] also features HOONY’s first official solo song “FLAMENCO,” YOON’s solo tune “WIND,” and “DON’T BE SHY,” produced by MINO. As solo artists, the members continue to grow in different directions, showcasing their clear musical personalities. It's exciting to see how these diverse and talented individuals come together as “WINNER” to present a new combination (+) and their own unique genre.
